SWAN Systems took out top honour in the Digital Innovation category at the WA Innovator of the Year awards ceremony held at Kings Park on Wednesday November 7. Judged by a panel of experts from a finalist group of four, SWAN Systems has notched up another industry win in recognition of its innovative software product dedicated to improving the management of one of Australia’s most precious resources – water.

The WA Innovator of the Year program aims to showcase innovative and entrepreneurial businesses and individuals, enabling SME’s to develop greater opportunities to grow their ideas and innovations. For SWAN Systems, winning this award is a valuable recognition of the great work our team has invested and continues to invest into transforming the irrigation industry with our revolutionary technology.

In accordance with the New Industries Fund, the key objectives of the WA Innovator of the Year Program are to:

• Promote and acknowledge the success of Western Australia innovators;
• Encourage support and to strengthen industry-government research collaborations;
• Engage Western Australian communities in innovation;
• Advance job opportunities and economic diversification through Western Australia at large.
